Stayed one week at Paboreal. Found it impossible to fault any aspect of the stay. All staff are very proffesional and go above and beyond to help in any way.... read more The hotel is impressively well maintained and spotlessly clean. Food is of a high standard and reasonably priced. Rooms are very spacious and well furnished with very comfortable beds and each having a large private balcony. Lovely clean swimming pool and sunbathing area. This hotel comfortably meets any European standard of a 4 star hotel at a price which is very very reasonable. I wouldnt hesitate to stay here whenever lm in Puerto Princesa. More

The reviews were right! This place is a small hidden gem “off the beaten path” that is definitely a good choice. Most everything is very simple, which I... read more greatly prefer, and the owner and his staff were amazing to deal with!
I would say that the staff here makes the whole experience worth it, and it’s the kind of treatment you simply don’t (and won’t) get at larger establishments.
The rooms are comfortable, soundproof, and spacious.
Be aware: you are not within walking distance of anything, but the nice thing is that the hotel will call you a local cab (tricycle) at a very reasonable price (100 pesos, or $2 US).
So I would definitely stay here again and would encourage anyone else to do the same. More

My friend and I stayed 2 nights in this Hotel. I somehow missed it was gay oriented hotel but even as a heterosexual I encountered no issues whatsoever, just missing... read more female guests being around. It is a small resort with pool, check in/out hassle free. They organized for us trip to Sabang and also private transport to el Nido. Smoking just outside of hotel, breakfast small and basic, room huge, bed comfy, didn´t have a chance to take a dip in their pool. Location is somewhat awkward, there´s not too much around the resort and you should take a tricycle - very cheap though.

I've stayed in a lot of hotels and resorts in my life - big and small, high end and low end, but they never made me feel sad upon leaving.
Paboreal Boutique Hotel has a certain aura that cannot be found in others. And this makes up for all the little "eyesores," that I saw when I checked in.
I checked in with a heavy heart, I checked out sad that I am leaving. More

Enrico, the owner, will do anything to make your stay as perfect as possible. The hotel is small but secure, quiet and clean. The rooms are spacious with a huge comfy bed and clean bathroom and porch area. The hotel serves a delicious breakfast every morning and arranges all tricycles to local restaurants or the airport, and any tours for you that you need. There is a lovely pool we didn't get the chance to use but the setting of the hotel is very private and quiet, perfect for families or couples. Enrico came over to us several times to check we were enjoying our stay and one evening when we were tired and looking for some quick food at 8.50pm (the kitchen closes at 9pm), he personally went into the kitchen to make us Ham and cheese toasties and chips! All of the staff are so polite and want to make your stay as special as possible, we could not recommend this hotel enough. Thank you to Enrico and the team for all of your help throughout our stay!
